The real edge for player props sits in the quieter corners of the books. Spots where volume shifts and coaching changes haven’t fully hit the numbers yet. Here’s a clean look at the major roster moves from 2025 to 2026 and the player props that are going to hit!
Chicago Bears: With Moore Gone, Will Odunze Step Up?
The Bears went 11-6 and won the North in Ben Johnson’s first year. They then spent the offseason shedding salary and veterans. They traded DJ Moore to Buffalo, watched Pro Bowl center Drew Dalman retire at 27, and let several secondary pieces walk. In return, they added Coby Bryant, Devin Bush, Kalif Raymond, and first-round safety Dillon Thieneman. The offense still revolves around third-year quarterback Caleb Williams and third-year wideout Rome Odunze. However, Luther Burden expects to play a big part in the offense as well as Colston Loveland.
FanDuel has Caleb Williams’ season passing yards at 3,575.5 and passing touchdowns at 24.5. Both numbers look light. Williams already showed real growth under Johnson, and the loss of Moore actually concentrates targets on Odunze, Luther Burden, and Colston Loveland. Expect more designed rollouts and intermediate throws. The over on 3,575.5 yards sits at -114 and feels like a safe play, especially since he just exceeded this last year.
Rome Odunze’s receiving props are still modest at 824.5 yards after a foot issue limited him late in 2025. He led the team in air yards and first-read targets when healthy. With Moore gone, his target share should climb past 25 percent. Looking for 900-plus yards and a jump in scores is reasonable. The current lines still treat him like a secondary option rather than the clear alpha.

Green Bay Packers: Can Love Keep The Offense Moving?
Green Bay finished 9-7-1 and made the playoffs again. The big offseason moves included adding defensive tackle Javon Hargrave and linebacker Zaire Franklin while losing Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks. Micah Parsons’ recovery from the ACL tear remains the biggest X-factor on defense. On offense, Jordan Love enters his prime with Christian Watson and Jayden Reed locked in on extensions and Matthew Golden ready for a bigger role.
DraftKings and FanDuel both list Love right around 3,549.5 passing yards and 24.5 touchdowns. The yardage number feels reachable. Love posted efficient numbers last year with fewer deep shots available. A healthier Watson and more consistent Red-zone looks should push him over that total without needing a massive leap in attempts. The over at even money is the player prop you want to take.

Minnesota Vikings: Kyler Murray Takes The Reins
The Vikings went 9-8 behind a shaky J.J. McCarthy season and ranked near the bottom in passing efficiency. They signed Kyler Murray to a one-year deal and, just today, named him the clear starter over McCarthy. That single decision changes everything for Justin Jefferson and T.J. Hockenson. Minnesota also brought in Jauan Jennings and cleaned up some defensive pieces.
Jefferson’s receiving yards sit at 1,149.5 on most books with receiving touchdowns at 6.5. Those numbers scream value. Jefferson still cleared 1,000 yards last year with inconsistent quarterback play. Murray’s mobility and ability to create outside structure should open more yards after the catch and better timing on intermediate routes. The over on 1,150.5 yards is the clearest prop play in the NFC North division.
T.J. Hockenson should also benefit. A healthy Murray means fewer check-downs forced by pressure and more designed tight-end concepts. His reception and yardage lines remain modest relative to the expected uptick in overall passing volume.

Detroit Lions: Core Locked In, Gibbs Gets The Keys
Detroit dropped from 15-2 in 2024 to 9-8 last season and missed the playoffs. The offseason was about commitment and turnover. They extended Jahmyr Gibbs to a record deal, kept Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jared Goff locked up, traded David Montgomery, released Taylor Decker, and hired new offensive coordinator Drew Petzing. The message is clear. The young core runs the show now.
Gibbs’ rushing yards sit at 1,249.5 with rushing touchdowns at 11.5. Without Montgomery eating into the workload, Gibbs should see 250-plus carries plus his usual receiving role. Isiah Pacheco is already injured, and I have doubts that he’ll have the same workload Montgomery had. The over on 1,249.5 yards looks strong, especially at plus money on some books.
Amon-Ra St. Brown’s receiving yards sit at 1,249.5 with touchdowns at 9.5. He remains the most consistent target in the offense. Goff’s passing yards sit at 4,050.5 and touchdowns at 29.5. Both are attainable for an offense that is usually humming. However, I have serious concerns about their offensive line.

Two NFL player props in the NFC North stand out above the rest. First, Justin Jefferson over 1,149.5 receiving yards at -110.
