AFC South Player Props: NFL Player Props To Bet Now!

“The AFC South has some great value in its player props bets. Check this out before placing your NFL Futures for props to bet right now!”

The AFC South finally looks competitive again after Jacksonville’s 13-4 division-winning season and Houston’s 12-5 playoff run in 2025. The Colts are banking on Daniel Jones’ recovery, while the Titans are in full rebuild mode with a young quarterback. That creates real pricing inefficiencies on the NFL futures board. Here’s a deeper look at each team’s 2025-to-2026 changes, realistic expectations for 2026, and the NFL player props I’m betting.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Post-Etienne Backfield And Lawrence’s Next Step

Jacksonville just went 13-4, won the AFC South for the first time in years, and finished with the third seed before a wild-card exit. The biggest losses were running back Travis Etienne and linebacker Devin Lloyd. Internally, second-year back Bhayshul Tuten is expected to step into a much larger role. Meanwhile, Trevor Lawrence enters his sixth season with more continuity under head coach Liam Coen. I expect they’ll have another top-10 offense if Lawrence can build on his strong second-half form from 2025 and the run game doesn’t fall too far.

For AFC South props related to the Jaguars, Trevor Lawrence’s passing yards are at 3,774.5 at -110. I’m taking the over. He threw over that amount last year and should continue to progress in his second-year in the Coen system. Bhayshul Tuten’s rushing yards sit at 724.5 at -110. I’m taking the over. Even if this turns into a committee, Tuten showed some explosiveness, running for over 5 yards a carry last year. With Etienne gone, a 180-200 carry workload at that efficiency should easily clear 725 yards.

Houston Texans: Stroud’s Bounce-Back And Montgomery’s Arrival

Houston finished with a 12-5 record and lost in the divisional round last year. The front office brought in David Montgomery to stabilize the run game and signed some veteran linemen. C.J. Stroud is entering a prove-it year after some late-season regression. I expect they’ll have a more balanced attack that can hopefully protect Stroud better.

For the top AFC South props regarding the Texans, I’m looking at Nico Collins receiving yards. Currently sitting at 1,149.5 at -110, I’m taking the over. He cleared 1,100 last year during a down year. If Stroud can rebound, Nico is still the number one guy. Speaking of Stroud, his passing yards sit at 3,549.5. The thing with Collins is, he could hit this no matter who is throwing the ball. Stroud’s efficiency dipped last year, and he plays behind a shaky offensive line that could lead to more injuries. I’m taking the under at -110 on that one.

Indianapolis Colts: Jones Returns From Achilles Injury, Taylor Remains The Engine

The Colts finished 8-9 last season and missed the playoffs. However, at one point before the Daniel Jones injury, they were 8-2. Early camp reports say Jones looks sharp and is taking every first-team rep. The Achilles appears to be healed. It helps that he has a very good featured back in Jonathan Taylor. Jones will have one less weapon as Michael Pittman was traded away. However, the surge of Alec Pierce last year showed they may not need Pittman.

My top AFC South prop bet for the Colts is Jonathan Taylor’s rushing yards. Sitting at 1,224.5 yards at -110, I’m taking the over. He’s cleared 1200 when he’s healthy and remains one of the most efficient backs in the league. Even if Danny Dimes isn’t as mobile, Taylor will get plenty of work.

Tennessee Titans: Cam Ward’s Development Year And Pollard’s Workload

Tennessee finished 3-14 and is deep in their rebuild. Cam Ward enters his second year with a lot to prove. Tony Pollard is the veteran presence in the backfield. I expect things will still start slow as Cam Ward continues to develop. This roster still feels a couple of years away from competing.

One of my favorite AFC South prop bets to take right now is Cam Ward’s passing yards under 3,387.5 at -110. Second-year quarterbacks in rebuilds rarely top this number when they don’t have any elite weapons. Tony Pollard’s rushing yards sit at 799.5 at -110, and I’m taking the over. Even on a bad team, he has consistently hovered in the 800-900 range, and Tyjae Spears doesn’t worry me to cut into his workload.

My Top AFC South Player Props

Two clear edges stand out among the AFC South player props. First, Trevor Lawrence over 3,774.5 passing yards at -110. Continuity and a fully healthy season should push the total higher. Second, Jonathan Taylor over 1,224.5 rushing yards at -110 feels like a lock. His efficiency and workload remain elite regardless of the quarterback situation.
