Denver Broncos: Waddle Arrives, Nix Returns Healthy
Denver won the AFC West for the first time since 2015 and reached the AFC Championship. The biggest offseason move was trading for Jaylen Waddle to give Bo Nix a true speed threat alongside Courtland Sutton. Nix is coming back from a late-season ankle injury but looks full-go in camp. The run game has depth with RJ Harvey and J.K. Dobbins. Look forward to a more explosive offense that can push for another division title if Nix stays healthy.
For the Broncos values among our AFC West player props, Bo Nix’s passing yards are at 3,499.5 (-110). I’m taking the over. He already showed growth in Year 2 and now has Waddle to create separation. The extra deep and intermediate targets should push him past this number. Jaylen Waddle’s receiving yards sit at 949.5 (-110). I’m taking the over on this as well. He’s a proven YAC machine who fills Denver’s biggest need and should clear 950 easily in Sean Payton’s scheme.
Los Angeles Chargers: Hampton Steps Up, Johnston Looks For Consistency
The Chargers finished 11-6 and made the playoffs but lost the division. They added running back Omarion Hampton early in the draft process and continue developing Quentin Johnston. Offensive coordinator changes and offensive-line health will be key. Look forward to a more balanced attack if Hampton becomes the featured back and Johnston finally turns targets into consistent production.
For some sneaky values in the AFC West player props for the Chargers, I’m looking at both the players I mentioned above. Omarion Hampton’s rushing yards are at 949.5 (-110). I’m taking the over on this one. He’s the clear lead back in a scheme that wants to run, and the number looks low for a first- or second-year workhorse. Quentin Johnston’s receiving yards sit at 649.5 (-110). I have to take the under, as much as I believe in QJ to finally prove himself. He has the size and speed but has yet to show the consistency to hit even this modest total with Justin Herbert’s other options still competing for targets.
Kansas City Chiefs: Walker Injects The Run Game, Kelce Keeps Grinding
Kansas City fell to 6-11 after years of dominance, with Patrick Mahomes dealing with injury late. The big addition this offseason was Kenneth Walker to fix a stagnant ground game. Travis Kelce remains the safety valve. Look forward to a more physical offense that can take pressure off Mahomes if he’s fully healthy and Walker delivers explosive runs.

Kenneth Walker’s rushing yards sit at 1,099.5 (-110). I’m cautiously taking the over. He was brought in specifically to create the explosive runs Kansas City lacked, and he should clear this as the featured back. However, the Chiefs move the ball around in a plethora of ways. I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite AFC West player prop, but it has some sneaky value.

Las Vegas Raiders: New coach, New QB, Jeanty And Bowers As The Anchors
The Raiders finished 3-14 and overhauled everything. They hired Klint Kubiak as head coach and drafted Fernando Mendoza with the top pick. They also signed Kirk Cousins as a bridge quarterback, and continue building around second-year running back Ashton Jeanty and tight end Brock Bowers. The wide-receiver room remains thin. Look forward to a more run-heavy, play-action offense that leans on Jeanty’s vision and Bowers’ mismatch ability while Mendoza develops.
For our value AFC West player props on the Raiders, Ashton Jeanty’s rushing yards are at 884.5 (-110). I’m taking the over. Kubiak’s scheme historically feeds the primary back heavy volume, and even with a minor ankle scare in camp, Jeanty remains the clear engine. Brock Bowers’ receiving yards sit at 924.5 (-110). I’m taking the over. I do have concerns that the defense won’t have to account for anybody else in the passing game. However, Bowers is a unique talent and you just can’t fade him at this point.
