The Baltimore Ravens entered the 2026 NFL Draft with a clear objective: reinforce the offensive line and continue building around Lamar Jackson. They accomplished that goal immediately by selecting Penn State offensive lineman Olaivavega Ioane with the 14th overall pick. Following Tyler Linderbaum’s departure in free agency, Baltimore needed help on the interior, and many evaluators considered Ioane one of the best offensive linemen available. His arrival should help maintain one of the NFL’s most dangerous rushing attacks.
The Ravens continued adding talent throughout the draft. Zion Young brings versatility to a revamped defensive front, while wide receivers Ja’Kobi Lane and Elijah Sarratt provide additional size and playmaking ability for Jackson. Lane remains somewhat of a developmental prospect, but his 6-foot-4 frame gives Baltimore a unique red-zone weapon. The Ravens also found strong value late in the draft with cornerback Chandler Rivers and defensive lineman Rayshaun Benny. Overall, Baltimore addressed several needs without sacrificing long-term upside.

NFL Rookie Minicamp Results
The Ravens recently concluded rookie minicamp at the Under Armour Performance Center, providing fans with their first glimpse of Head Coach Jesse Minter’s rookie class. The two-day event featured all 11 draft selections, undrafted free agents, and several tryout participants.
Ja’Kobi Lane emerged as one of the biggest stars of the weekend. The USC product made what many observers called the “catch of the camp” during seven-on-seven drills, showcasing the length and athleticism that made him an attractive third-round selection. Meanwhile, first-round pick Olaivavega Ioane immediately impressed coaches with his movement skills and physical presence while taking reps at right guard.
Second-round edge defender Zion Young also stood out. Coaches praised his physicality and leadership qualities as he quickly became a vocal presence among the rookies. Running back Adam Randall and wide receiver Elijah Sarratt generated positive reviews as well, while cornerback Chandler Rivers held his own against larger receivers throughout the weekend’s drills.
Baltimore Ravens Updated 2026 Win Total Projection
The Ravens enter the 2026 season with one of the highest projected win totals in football. Most sportsbooks currently list Baltimore’s over/under at 11.5 wins, tying them with the Los Angeles Rams for the highest projected total in the NFL. While oddsmakers slightly favor the Under because of the lofty number, expectations remain extremely high.
Several factors support those projections. Baltimore added premier pass-rusher Trey Hendrickson during free agency, upgraded the offensive line through the draft, and enters the season with a healthy Lamar Jackson under center. The Ravens are also expected to benefit from one of the league’s more favorable schedules and are projected favorites in most of their regular-season contests.
The AFC North remains competitive, but Baltimore enters training camp as the division favorite. If Jesse Minter successfully transitions into his first season as head coach, the Ravens appear positioned to contend for both a division title and a deep playoff run.
