Tampa Bay, New Orleans, Carolina and Atlanta all enter with realistic paths to the title, driven by quarterback development, skill-position talent and coaching changes. This NFC South Preview highlights each roster’s top players while focusing on player-centric NFC South Props including passing yards, rushing yards, receiving production and touchdown totals.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Buccaneers open as slight division favorites behind veteran quarterback Baker Mayfield, who remains the most experienced signal-caller in the group. With Mike Evans departed, the receiving corps leans on Chris Godwin and emerging options like Emeka Egbuka and Jalen McMillan. The ground game features Bucky Irving. The offensive line and Todd Bowles’ defensive scheme provide a solid foundation, though Mayfield must adapt to a new play-caller.
On FanDuel, look at Mayfield’s regular-season passing yards over 3,750.5 and passing touchdowns over 24.5. DraftKings offers Godwin’s receiving yards at 850.5. As much as I love Chris Godwin, he’s an aging receiver with an injury history, and I’m fading that number.

New Orleans Saints
The Saints carry momentum from a strong late-2025 finish and enter as a popular sleeper under Kellen Moore. Quarterback Tyler Shough continues his development after a promising close to last season. Skill players include Chris Olave, new first-round wide receiver Jordyn Tyson, and running back Travis Etienne Jr. Unfortunately, Tyson is already set to miss time due to an injury. The defense remains competitive, giving New Orleans a balanced look capable of challenging for the top spot.
FanDuel lists Olave’s receiving yards over 1,050.5 and Etienne’s rushing yards over 900.5. DraftKings has Shough’s passing yards over 3,400.5 as an intriguing play if all his weapons can get and stay healthy.

Carolina Panthers
Carolina returns with improved confidence around third-year quarterback Bryce Young, who posted career highs in yards and touchdowns while taking fewer sacks. Meanwhile, the running game and a reinforced defense (additions including Jaelan Phillips and Devin Lloyd) give the Panthers balance. Dave Canales’ scheme continues to emphasize Young’s growth.
DraftKings and FanDuel both feature Young’s passing yards over 3,600.5 and passing touchdowns over 22.5. McMillan’s receiving yards over 950.5 and receptions over 75.5 represent popular volume-based NFC South Props for those expecting continued offensive strides.

Atlanta Falcons
New head coach Kevin Stefanski brings structure to a Falcons team that still has questions at quarterback between Tua Tagovailoa and Michael Penix Jr. Although with Penix still recovering, Tua has the job for now. The clear strengths sit in the skill positions. They have an elite running back in Bijan Robinson, plus wide receiver Drake London and tight end Kyle Pitts remaining a mismatch piece. An upgraded supporting cast and defensive additions give Atlanta upside if the quarterback situation stabilizes.
One of the strongest top-player props across books is Robinson’s regular-season rushing yards over 1,250.5 at FanDuel. London’s receiving yards over 1,100.5 and receptions over 85.5 offer additional high-volume options.
