The Bills, meanwhile, are rolling behind Josh Allen’s efficient play and a run game anchored by James Cook, who leads the AFC in rushing.
The Patriots are historically strong in prime-time road games vs. Buffalo, but the Bills have dominated the rivalry since 2020, winning 8 of the last 11. With the AFC East already tightening, this matchup has major early-season implications.

“We’re protecting the football, and that’s the biggest reason we’re winning,” Allen said midweek. “That has to continue against a Patriots team that can flip momentum in a hurry.”
