NFL Week 4 Breakdowns: The Only Bets You Need To Make?!

NFL Week 4 Breakdowns: The Only Bets You Need To Make?!

“Week 4 NFL preview with a last full slate, six props, eight best bets, a survivor lean, two round-robins, and Thursday night in Cleveland.”

The league is in full throttle, and this is the last clean week to enjoy it. All 32 teams are on the card. Byes start next week. Week 3 was already green, headlined by a 39-1 cash, and several teams are still sorting themselves out after three weeks. That is where the edges are: leaky secondaries, backup quarterbacks who have to run, home dogs with something to prove, and a Thursday nighter in Cleveland that should not need 40 points.

Best Bets

Eagles +3. Philadelphia just got embarrassed in Chicago. The Rams took a heartbreaker in Denver and now travel from Denver to Los Angeles to Philadelphia. Puka Nacua is a question, Terrance Ferguson looks out, and Dallas Goedert is probably out. Home dog in a slugfest.
Cardinals at Giants over 43.5 (-115). One of the lowest totals on the board. Brian Burns is out for the year. Arizona scored 26 at the Chargers and 30 at San Francisco, and allowed 36 and 30. Weather is 60s and sunny. Lean is 27-24.

Lions -3.5 at Carolina. Detroit has the worst pass defense in the league. Carolina has the worst rush defense. Jahmyr Gibbs is the answer. Jaycee Horn and Mike Jackson are on IR.Lions-Panthers over 50.5 (-105). Carolina let the Bears hang 59 in Week 1. Detroit has had at least 50 points in the building every week. The Panthers have scored 30-plus twice in three weeks.

Titans +11.5 at Baltimore. Fade the trip home from Rio. Tennessee’s losses are a dud, then four to the Eagles and five to the Giants. Baltimore is on a fourth-string center. Lamar is banged up. Jeffrey Simmons against that interior is the matchup.

Play Of The Week

Anytime touchdown round robin.
Najee Harris anytime (+375). Carnell Tate anytime (+375). Pop Douglas anytime (+390). All three is about 110-1. Round-robin it.

Jalon Daniels anytime belongs in the same pool. Passing-yards parlay, also a round robin. Jameis Winston 275-plus (+370). Bryce Young 300-plus (+290). Tyler Shough 300-plus (+235). Together, that is about 61-1. The ticket only needs yards.

Thursday Night Football: Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns

Thursday, Oct. 1, 8:15 p.m. ET, Prime Video
Huntington Bank Field. 60s, mild wind. Rain expected to hold off.
Steelers -2.5 (-148) | Browns +2.5 (+124) | Total 38.5.

Both teams are a surprising 2-1. The sharp side is Pittsburgh: 56% of the bets and 75% of the handle. The under has 61% of the bets and 93% of the money.

Joey Porter Jr. is out. Rico Dowdle is out with turf toe. Jalen Ramsey is pushing to play through a broken wrist. Brandon Echols is questionable with a concussion. Center Elgton Jenkins is out. Deshaun Watson playing well two weeks in a row is the ask. The line issues should put him back in turnover territory.

Pick: Steelers -2.5 and under 38.5. Division games here finish 13-17 more often than they shoot out.TNF props:

  • Jaylen Warren over 22.5 receiving yards (-115)
  • DK Metcalf over 18.5 longest reception
  • Quinshon Judkins longest rush over 12.5
  • Harold Fannin Jr. under 41.5 receiving yards
  • Jaylen Warren rush plus receiving over 99.5 (-120)
  • Aaron Rodgers over 1.5 rush attempts (+100)
  • Deshaun Watson over 28.5 pass attempts (-110)
  • Quinshon Judkins under 56.5 rush yards
  • Casey Conception over 3.5 receptions (-138)
  • Raheem Sanders over 11.5 receiving yards

Long shots, one unit split four ways: Deshaun Watson anytime (+440), Pittsburgh defense and special teams (+500), Darnell Washington anytime (+600), Blake Whiteheart anytime (+1300).

Most receiving yards: Roman Wilson (+1600) and Darnell Washington (+3000). They were Pittsburgh’s two leading receivers last week. In this game, 60 yards can win the market.
