UFL Week 3 Betting Trends to Know
1. Home Teams Are Dominating
- 6–2 straight up
- 7–1 against the spread
- Significant penalty advantage for home teams
Translation: Until proven otherwise, home-field matters more than expected
2. Penalties Have DOUBLED
- Week 1: ~6.7 per game
- Week 2: ~13.5 per game
This directly correlates with:
- More scoring
- More extended drives
- More volatile betting outcomes
3. Overs Are Becoming More Viable
League leadership has openly pushed for:
- More points
- More fan engagement
And guess what? Scoring jumped significantly in Week 2.
4. Injury Reporting = A Mess
- Key players missing from depth charts… then leading their teams
- QBs listed as starters… then ruled out late
Bottom line: You NEED to stay flexible and track late news
Andddd of course…
Houston QB1 Hunter Dekkers (shoulder) = OUT
Houston QB2 Nolan Henderson (finger) = Doubtful
Despite the depth chart the league put out saying Dekkers was the starter & Henderson his backup 👍

Week 3 Game Breakdowns
Orlando Storm vs. Louisville Kings
Back-to-back matchups in football are rare, and familiarity should benefit Louisville here. Last week’s result was misleading—Louisville moved the ball but couldn’t finish, largely due to poor red zone execution and inconsistent QB usage.
If they settle in with a more consistent approach under center, this offense should take a step forward. The Orlando Storm have playmakers that are dangerous, but they also capitalized on a few broken plays that won’t always be there.
Lean: Louisville +3.5
Best Angle: Over 38.5
Houston Gamblers vs. DC Defenders
This sets up as a brutal spot for Houston. With QB injuries piling up, there’s a real chance they’re rolling out a QB3 on the road against one of the league’s better defenses. That’s a tough ask in any league.
DC should control this game with their run game and defense, especially at home. If Houston has any success, it likely comes on the ground—but sustained drives will be hard to come by.
Lean: DC -6.5
Best Angle: Under 47.5
Columbus Aviators vs. Dallas Renegades
This feels like a mismatch. Dallas has looked like the most complete team in the league, while Columbus is struggling on both sides of the ball—especially defensively.
Turnovers and injuries continue to pile up for Columbus, and now they face an offense that can score in a hurry. Unless Dallas completely beats itself, this should get out of hand.
Lean: Dallas -7
Best Angle: Dallas Team Total Over
